Christina Faulkner is an experienced music teacher and pianist. In 2007, she graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Music (Hons) and a Bachelor of Education (Secondary).
Christina began her piano teaching career when she was just 17, teaching over fifty students aged 4 - adult of varying levels of ability throughout her university years. From 2008 - 2010, she worked as the Primary Classroom Music Teacher and Primary Choir Director at John Paul College, teaching over a thousand students in her time there. In 2011, she began working in a secondary setting, working as the Music Coordinator of Mary MacKillop College, teaching Years 8 - 12 Music, coordinating the instrumental program and taking various music ensembles including choirs, concert bands, rock bands and the musical band. She also taught piano privately from her home studio throughout 2011-2012.

She regularly attends professional development for music teachers and has current Queensland College of Teachers registration and is a Professional Member of the Queensland Music Teachers' Association. She is currently completing professional development in Taubman piano technique, jazz piano and special needs education. Christina loves learning and is always looking to improve as a teacher.
Christina opened her piano teaching studio in Coorparoo in 2015, originally called "Christina Faulkner Music Studio." In 2016 she changed the name to "Piano Passion Studio" as she had two teachers working for her whilst on maternity leave. The business then went mobile for a year, then moved to the Manly area and has slowly been growing again (along with Christina's family as she had another baby in early 2019!) Christina is currently working on her own and is now accepting more students for 2020 in her Manly West home based studio.
